- Launching in 2006 Worldwide Alpha Communications Network
(aka W.W.A.C.N) is known to many as the first and largest
podcast mix show network to target listeners using DJ
produced mixes. Building its initial listenership from urban
music fans, currently there are over 1.5 million world-wide
subscribers all genres including Hip Hop, R&B, Dance, Latin,
and Indie Rock.
WWACN's mixes are distributed over the internet and can be
downloaded onto your PC, mobile phone and mp3 player
through every major aggregator and feed reader such as;
iTunes, iGoogle, My Yahoo, My MSN, Sony PSP, and the Xbox
console just to name a few.
Alpha Communications Network is owned and operated by the
rapidly growing DJ cooperative "Fleet DJ's." Presently, there are
over 80 + DJ's submitting mobile mixes regularly to WWACN
along with The Focuson The DJ Channel, syndicated on
Sprint/Nextel & US Cellular Radio.
